Episode 10
(Location : Seoul Museum of History)
"Yah~ Let's just leave Ji hyo and Gary alone!" Jaesuk smiled as he teased me and Gary.
"Yeah, let's all just go find what to draw and leave those two alone" Jong Kook said as everyone started to leave. As everyone left, everything became a silence and it became awkward. Gary walked around and covered my eyes and joked with me. This, was the start of our love story, between us, and our fans.
Episode 15
(Location : Train carriage Depot)
{ Guests : Tony, Kim Kwang Kyu }
"CUT!" The PD said as everyone bowed to each other.
"Hello" I smiled as I bowed to Tony and Kwang Kyu.
"Ah, Hello Miss Ji Hyo." Kwang Kyu bowed as he smiled.
"Hi." Tony smiled as he waved his hands.
Gary came as he bowed towards to Tony and Kwang Kyu. "Hi" Gary said as he smiled. He looked at me and looked at them again. "I wonder what we are going to do today." Gary said as he looked at the PDs, whispering to each other and setting up inside the train.
"Okay, everyone ready? Action!" The PD said as they started to film again.
"Today is going to be a 1 vs 7 Mission." The PD said. Everyone looked at each other, wondering who will go against who. "Today will be raising Ji Hyo's heart beat today" He said as he looked at the card. "You will be raising Ji Hyo's heart beat to 130." Everyone started complaining.
"Ah! I can't raise Ji Hyo's heartbeat." Gwang Soo said as he complained.
"Yah~ Since you always framed her." Jae Suk laughed as I gave them the glare.
"I don't even know how I'm going to raise HER heart!" Suk jin said as he laughed.
"Yah! You...hwak!" I said as I lifted my fists to Gwangsoo. He laughed as he back away.

"Where are you going to?" Gary asked as he sat far from me.
"llsan" I said as I nervously sat down. I didn't know why I was nervous, I mean, I'm not meant to slowly fall for Gary, and make this Monday couple real.
"We've already known each other for some time..." Gary said as he looked at me in the eyes.
"Two months?" I slowly said as I looked oddly at him.
"Recently, I wrote some lyrics whilst thinking of you..." He said as he looked at me. "You want to hear it?" He asked as he looked at me.
Excited and happy, I smiled as I nodded. "Yes, I do."
"Can you stand up and listen to it?" He asked as I nodded as I stood up. Gary grabbed my hands as I looked at him. The nervous, odd feeling that I have having, I didn't know if he was just acting, or this was real.
"The topic is, Ji Hyo Blues." I laughed as he looked at me. "My life, that will love no matter how tiring it is. Just like a discarded umbrella I keep. The lyric beats the worm into my heart. A rap confession that touches our hearts. Not stopping our footsteps. Beautiful Ji Hyo. The lyrics that Hip Hop man Gary composed for Ji Hyo in the subway only one person's love notes resonates" He said as he looked deep into my eyes with every words that came from his mouth. I looked down quickly, trying to avoid his eyes. "So now, can we date already?" Gary said as I laughed a little. I didn't know what to say, I mean, because he sounded so sincere and real.
"You guys aren't really dating right?" Jaesuk said as I laughed nervously.
I laughed as I nodded. "Can I have you all to myself now?" He asked as he grabbed my hands.
"Your lines are too.." Jaesuk cutted it thankfully as I nervously laughed again. I didn't know what to say. I mean, he is a sweet man, but I didn't know if he was playing around with me or not.
"Loving her means I can also have her myself" Gary said as he looked around to Jaesuk.
As everything finished off, with the other guys trying to grab my heart beat to 130, but in the end, failing, which gave me the running man ball. I don't know why, but I was disappointed, because the feeling of Gary's rapping and his question, sounded all too real. But I didn't know if it was true or not, if he asked me honestly, or he was just making an act to win my heartbeat to win the runnning ball. His eyes and his voice, just sounded so real. After we filmed running man, I sat down as I thought silently by myself, thinking what in the world have I gotten myself to? A fake couple that I'm slowly beginning to think it's real.
After we finished, I left home at midnight. I couldn’t go to sleep that night, because of that moment when Gary sang to me. I didn’t know what to do. I decided to stay up, and left outside and took a walk around the park nearby where I lived. Soon after, I got a text.
“ Hello Ji Hyo ^ ^ Are you still awake? “ –Kang Gary
I stared at the text. Why would he text me at this moment of time. I decided to text back to him.
“ Yes I’m still awake. How about you? Can’t sleep?” –SJH
I took a seat on a cold bench during those cold nights as I waited for a reply. A melody came as I reached for my pockets for my cellphone. Gary texted back.
“ Ah. Yes, I can’t, I was just wondering what you were doing. Can’t sleep also? “ –KG
I smiled as I read the text. Typical peaceful Gary. He was someone who is sweet and charming, although he isn’t the most handsome man in the world.
“ Of course .__. If not, why am I texting you?” –SJH
I sighed as I can see my breath in the cold air. I sighed as I waited for his reply. A few moments later, there was no text. I was tired also so I decided to head back home and get some rest before the next day.

-Next Day-
I woke up; still half awake and half asleep. I remember Jaesuk telling me that we were going to have a “Running man” camping today {Which isn’t broadcasted. We just wanted to go camping together to get to know each other more.} As I was getting ready to pack up my belongings into a suitcase, Jaesuk called me and I picked up the phone.
“Hello, Ji Hyo?” Jaesuk said as I oddly answered him. He sounded like he was in a hurry for something.
“Yes, what is it?” I asked as I closed my suitcase and grabbed my shoes.
“Hurry and go outside! I’m waiting! Before Jong Kook comes and picks you up! I’m outside already.” Jaesuk said as I nodded. I quickly grabbed my suitcase and without any makeup, quickly ran outside to Jaesuk’s car. Jaesuk quickly lowered the window.
“Hurry Ji Hyo!” Jaesuk said as I quickly ran into the back of the car. I placed my suitcase on the back of the car as I sat back down on my seat.
“Oppa, what are we doing today?” I asked as I rubbed my eyes, still tired as ever.
“PD all of a sudden said that we are picking teams in the morning.” Jaesuk said, as he drove to the freeway.
“So it’s you and Jong Kook?” I asked as I looked outside.
“Yeah, we need to quickly pick the others up too.” Jaesuk said as he called haha.
“Yah Haha!” Jaesuk quickly said as he turned the car.
“Yo! Wassup!” Haha said as he sounded like he has been waiting.
“Hurry and wait outside! I’m almost there!” Jaesuk quickly said as Haha answered. They both ended up the call and Jaesuk stopped the car. All of a sudden, the car door slid open and Haha quickly jumped in out of nowhere and entered the car.
“Yah~ Jong Kook always has Gary, Joongki, and Kwangsoo already!” Haha said as Jaesuk sighed. He called up Suk Jin.
“Suk Jin!” Jaesuk said. He stopped the car. “Come here right now! I’m outside!” Jaesuk said as he looked outside of a café building. Suk Jin quickly came in as he smiled.
“Where are we going?” Suk Jin asked as he sat down comfortably.
“We’re heading to the cabins. It seems like the crew wants a ‘getting to know each other’ thing type of field trip.” Jaesuk said as he was heading to the mountains.
“..And this isn’t filmed right? We’re doing this for our own purpose?” Haha asked questionably.
“Yeah. PD told us that it’s for our good to get to know each other.” Jaesuk said.
“It would’ve been a good episode if this was aired.” Suk Jin sighed as he fixed his glasses.
Soon after we reached to the cabins, where we met Jong Kook’s team.
“You guys are slow! Do you even know how long we have been waiting?!” Jong Kook said as he lectured among Jaesuk.
“Yah~ If you didn’t make me take the people from far away.” Jaesuk said.
“Okay guys~ Let’s start the first game.” The PD said as everyone looked at him. “The first game is from Xman, the hand and foot game.” The PD said as everyone nodded in remembrance. “The team who wins this gets to choose which cabin to be at. There’s one cabin where there’s a shower inside, and there’s one where there’s a shower outside instead in the cold.” The PD said as we all sighed.
“Let’s go! We have to win this!” Jong Kook said as he clapped his hands, getting everyone in his team pumped up.
“Yah~ If we don’t want to take a shower in the cold~” Jaesuk said as he patted everyone in our team’s back.

“First off! Yoo Jaesuk and Jong Kook!” The PD said as Jaesuk shook his head.
“Yah what are you trying to do?” Jaesuk said as he pointed at the PD. “Are you trying to kill me?” He said as he lectured the PD. “You know he is the strongest; yet you are making me trying to win him?” Jaesuk complained.
“It’s okay. It’s a stretching game” The PD said as Jong Kook smiled.
“This isn’t fair, I’m wearing shorts” Jong Kook complained as he fixed his hair.
“Ready.” The PD said as Jaesuk and Jong Kook stared at each other, holding hands.
“This is awkward.” Jaesuk said as he looked at Jong Kook. They both smiled and laughed as they looked at each other.
“GO!” The PD said as he blew the whistle. Jaesuk tried to stretch while Jong Kook tried to beat him. Later on, as far as they can, Jaesuk actually won Jong Kook.
“Yes, I won.” Jaesuk smiled as he clutched his fist with victory. I laughed as they both were in pain from stretching.
“Kang Gary and Ji Hyo!” The PD said as we looked at him.
“Yah. You have some taste there.” Jaesuk smiled as they all were ready to watch our competition.
I sighed as I got ready to battle against Gary. I didn’t want to take a cold shower outside; I wanted to take a shower inside the cabin. We both stared at each other as we held hands. Gary looked down as he smiled.
“Yah~ Ji Hyo, what are you doing to me?” He said as he grabbed my hands, holding it. It brought a laugh to the crew.
“I’m not doing it.” I said as I pushed Gary’s hands. His hands slipped as I fell onto him. But the thing was, I was on top of him instead by accident! I didn’t know what to do; I stared at him as he stared at me; on the ground, with the crew and everyone looking at us with a surprise.

I quickly got up as everyone looked around.
“Erm.” Jaesuk said as he looked at the PD.
“Okay. Start!” The PD quickly said as he blew the whistle.
“W-Wait I’m not even ready!” I said as I grabbed Gary’s hands looked at him.

In the end, Jong Kook’s team won; because of Gary, Joongki, and Kwangsoo’s win. {Somehow, Kwangsoo was lucky; probably because he has long legs} Jaesuk and the others complained as we left to look around in our cabin. The two different cabins were true. We had everything in ours; besides the kitchen, and shower. There was a small little house; like those outside potties, but instead it was a shower house you can say. Jaesuk sighed as we all left to our separate rooms in the cabin. I placed my suitcase in my room as I lay down on the bed.
“Ah!~” I said as I yawned, only getting five hours of sleep. The bed was comfortable, and warm as I looked outside from the window. Surprisingly, my window led to Gary’s window across.
“Ahh Who do I see now?” Gary said as he played around with his words. “Who do I see? My Monday couple?” Gary said as he looked at me. I laughed as he waved at me. I waved back at him also.
“YAH GARY HURRY UP DOWN ALREADY!” Jong Kook yell aloud as Gary looked around.
“JIHYO QUICKLY! Come down before Gary does!” Jaesuk yelled as I ran downstairs before Gary did. Our team and Jong Kook’s team seems to be running a little race of something. “What are we doing?” I asked as I looked at them.
“PD wants us to play the ‘of course’ game.” Haha said as he yawned. “If you were in the other team.” Haha pointed towards to Jaesuk.
“Yah you little.” Jaesuk said as they both grabbed onto each other. “YAH!”
“What is this now? Xman?” Suk Jin said as he walked over to stand next to Jaesuk.
“Wait, didn’t he tell us that we’ll continue everything tomorrow and have fun today?” Joongki said as everyone looked around, quite…”Mong~”
“That’s right!” Kwangsoo said with excitement. “Ya!~ I want to go swimming!” Kwangsoo quickly said as he ran into the cabin.
“Kwangsoo!” Joongki said as he followed after Kwangsoo. “Wait for me!~” He quickly said as he closed the door.
There was Jaesuk, haha, Jong Kook, Gary, and me left. We looked around as we shrugged our shoulders.
“Alright…I guess I’ll go back to sleep now.” Haha said as he yawned. “I had a schedule yesterday and only had three hours of sleep.” He said as he closed the door. “I’ll come back later.” He said.
Jaesuk looked at Suk Jin and Jong Kook and gave them a facial expression, somewhat like they were trying to do something.
“A-Ah! I forgot, Jaesuk and Sukjin and us, we’re going fishing!” Jong Kook said as Jaesuk nodded.
“O-Oh yes!” Jaesuk said as Suk Jin gave them an odd look.
“I don’t want to go---“
“Let’s go!” Jong Kook said as he covered Suk Jin’s mouth and dragged Jaesuk and Suk Jin to the lake. I stared at Gary as he was playing with a twig as he wrote on the sand. I sighed as I sat down on a chair. Why was I so nervous for? I shouldn’t be nervous to be with a friend of mines right? I closed my eyes as I was soon dazing off on my own. I was a bit too tired and wanted to fall asleep. As my head tilted down, I soon felt something like a pillow, that was soft, but at the same time, I felt someone’s hand, but I was too tired, and dazed off on my own, entering dreamland.

3rd POV
Gary was still busy writing around, drawing pictures of everyone on the sand for fun. He didn’t realize that Jihyo was soon dazing off and sleeping on the chair. As he looked up, her head kept falling, slowly and slowly. Gary smiled as he stood up and sat next to her. He thought for a moment, and ran into the cabin and came out with a blanket, placing it on his shoulder, and gently placed Jihyo’s head onto his shoulder. He smiled as he slowly moved a bit closer.
“It’s okay, even though today’s not Monday, I’m still here for you.” He quietly whispered as he smiled. He silently took a picture of her; sleeping as Kwangsoo and Joongki opened the cabin door; ready to go swimming.
“LET’S GO----“ Kwangsoo looked where Gary and Jihyo was at and paused. Joongki smiled as he pushed Kwangsoo forward. “J-Joongki.” Kwangsoo said as he turned to him.
“Hm?” Joongki asked as he looked at Kwangsoo.
“I-It’s cold out here.” He said. {Imagine his theme song playing right now xD}
“I told you so.” Joongki said, who was actually wearing a sweater and sweat pants. Kwangsoo was wearing his shorts and a tank top. They both quickly went back inside the cabin. They actually didn’t see Gary and Jihyo because Kwangsoo was ready to go swimming; which it was too cold to go swimming in this season. Gary gave a little chuckle as Jihyo quickly woke up. Gary paused as they both looked at each other.
Back to Jihyo’s POV
I felt a warm soft pillow as I slept soundly, hearing the nature as the birds were chirping. I quickly heard a chuckling that made me wake up all of a sudden, realizing that it wasn’t a pillow that I was sleeping, it was Gary who I actually fell asleep on.
“H-Hey!” I said as I quickly looked away.
“Although it’s not Monday today, I accepted that it’ll be Monday tomorrow.” Gary smiled as he gave me a thumbs up. He stood up. “Aigoo. Your head is so heavy!” Gary joked around as he laughed, massaging his shoulder.
“Yah!” I said as I gave him the ‘fist’. I smiled as I heard a yell.
“AHHHH!”
Gary looked around as I did also. We looked at each other oddly as Kwangsoo and Joongki ran out of the cabin. “D-Did you two hear that?” Kwangsoo asked as they looked around.
We all looked around. “Wasn’t that…Jong Kook’s voice?” Joongki asked as we looked around. “Let’s go find them.” He said as he all nodded. We separated into two teams; Joongki and me, and Gary and Kwangsoo. We both nodded as we quickly looked around. Joongki looked around and walked ahead; I followed behind him. All of a sudden, I felt like I was slipping; as I did, I slipped into a hill as I fell down somewhere lower than I was before. “Y-Yah!~” I yelled aloud as I was somewhere in the trees. This could’ve been trouble.
3rd POV
Joongki quickly walked around; looking for Jong Kook and them and he heard Jihyo’s voice. “Y-Yah!”
He turned around, only to notice that she wasn’t following him anymore. “Jihyo!” Joongki yelled aloud as he saw Jong Kook and them, walking back with everyone else. He ran to the guys.
“What happened?” Joongki quickly asked as Jaesuk laughed.
“Jong Kook got scared from a fish. So he was mad” Jaesuk laughed as Joongki looked around.
“Oh? Where’s Jihyo?” Suk Jin asked as he looked around.
“That’s just what I was going to say; I couldn’t find her anymore.” Joongki said as they all stopped.
“Let’s go find her quickly!” Jaesuk said as all the guys nodded.

Jihyo’s POV
I’m stuck in this dark, damp forest, not knowing where I’m at. I tried to stand up, only hurting myself, but where? I was in pain. I placed my hands on my leg as I felt the pain sting even more. I tried to stand up, only to have the pain sharpened more. I sat down, sighing as I can’t even do anything now. The forest was getting colder now also. I was shaking because it was getting cold, and I didn’t even bring my jacket with me. {Idiot me} I suddenly heard a familiar voice as it came closer and closer.
“Jihyo! Are you here Jihyo?!” A male voice yell aloud as I look around. It sounded familiar.
“H-Help me!” I yelled as much as I could with my energy.
“Jihyo?” He yelled again aloud. I yelled back as he came closer to me. “Don’t stop yelling!” He said, his voice sounding closer now. I could spot his hair. He quickly came and saw me. “Jihyo-yah!” Gary said as he saw me. He came closer to me, sliding down quickly. He grabbed me and looked at me all over. “Are you okay?!” Gary said as he looked all over me. “Your leg!” Gary said as he poked at it.
“YAH!” I yelled aloud as I was about to punch him. He quickly massaged me as I looked at him. I was shaking from the cold, seeing the breath in the air. Gary quickly took of his jacket and placed it over me.
“Idiot.” He said as he looked at me, giving a sigh. “This troublesome..” He said as he looked at me. He looked up as it was a bit high. The PDs and crew quickly saw us and came over to check on us. “I’ll carry her and bring down a rope!” Gary said as the PDs nodded. As the rest of the Runningman crew came, they wrapped the rope around the tree as Gary looked at me. “Get on me.” Gary said, squatting down as he was ready to piggyback me.
“B-But..” I said as I looked at him.
“Hurry before your leg swells up.” He said as he looked at me. I nodded as I wrapped my arms around him. He carried me up. I felt his hands, so cold and frozen. I sighed as he grabbed the rope, pulling himself, and myself up. After he got up of the hill, the emergency was called because they called a search team. They quickly brought me into the emergency car as I saw Gary and the rest of the runningman crew follow me into the back.
“G-Gary hyung!” Kwangsoo said as Gary looked at him. “Y-Your legs and arms are all scratched up!” Kwangsoo said as they closed the ambulance door. I quickly tried to get up as the emergency doctors tried to put me down. As they placed an oxygen mask as I laid down there, wondering if Gary was okay.
*3rd POV*
Everyone looked at Gary. “G-Gary! How did you get this?” Jong Kook said as he looked at Gary’s hands.
“Oh….probably got that when I was grabbing the rope…I didn’t realize the pain until now.” He said as he looked at his hands. “I slid down the hill, probably got scratches from the twigs on my legs.” Gary smiled.
“Ah…Let’s go on a trip to visit Jihyo” Jaesuk said as everyone else nodded. “Also, we’ll get Gary patched up at the hospital also.” Jaesuk said as he patted Gary’s back.
“Idiot…” Gary said as he smiled, staring at Jihyo sleeping in the hospital bed. “Did you know how worried I got?” He said as he fixed her hair on the side of her face. Everyone came in as they were arguing with each other.
“Yah! Why didn’t you tell me that it was ramen?!” Jong Kook yelled to Kwangsoo.
“I didn’t know it was ramen! Plus, it said HEALTHY.” Kwangsoo said as he pointed at the cup.
“Forget it already! You ate it already Kookie!” Jaesuk complained.
“Jaesuk! When am I ever going to become a captain?” Suk Jin complained.
“I think I have a shooting to go to in the next episode…” Joongki said as he checked his phone.
“ I wonder who’s going to be in the next episode then..” Haha thought as he smiled, hoping it’ll be a female guest. Everyone paused as they looked at Gary. Jihyo woke up as she was surprised.
*Jihyo’s POV*
“Did you know how worried I got?”
I slightly opened my eyes, in shock to hear a loud conversation. “Y-You guys!” I said as I shrugged my shoulders. I moved to the side of my bed and covered the blanket, going back to sleep.
“Jihyo..Wake up” Jaesuk said as he tapped me on the back.
“Yah! Wake up!~” Kwangsoo said as he hit me in the back.
“Hwak!” I yelled angrily as I hit Kwangsoo on the shoulder. Kwangsoo laughed as they all sat around Jihyo.
*15 minutes later*
“Dangyuhanji [Of course]! The PD said against Jaesuk. Jaesuk and the others laughed as the PD looked at them.
“You were surprised of the fact that we knew your favorite color is green right?” The PD said as he looked at Jaesuk. Jaesuk laughed.
“Dangyuhanji!” Jaesuk said as he laughed. “I hate the color green.” Jaesuk quickly commented as he attacked back. “You were secretly jealous that Kwangsoo was better than you when we played Hide and Seek mission right?” Jaesuk said as he looked at the PD. The PD continued laughing as the five second ended.
{Of course game in Xman; If anyone doesn’t know about this game, they have to say Of course to everything they ask / say about within 5 seconds.}
I stared at Gary as they all continued laughing. Why was his arm and leg patched up for? Was it because of me? I stared at Gary as a sudden door flew open as we all looked at who it was.
“Gary!” A female voice said. “I was worried about you!” She said as we all looked at her, a bit odd. She hugged him as we all curiously stared at him. Was she his girlfriend?

“eeyyy” Kwangsoo said as he looked at Gary. “You never told us that you had a girlfriend” He smiled as he looked at Gary.
“Ehh what?!” Gary said as he looked at Kwangsoo in disgust. “No, this is my sister!” He said as everyone looked at him.
“Wait what?” Jong kook said as he took off his cap.
“I told you guys I had a sister” He said as his sister looked at him.
“Hello everyone” She smiled as she bowed. “My name is Kang Sooyung.” She smiled as she bowed to all of us. All of the guys smiled as they bowed back, as well as I did.
“Nice to meet you” Jaesuk smiled everyone looked back at Gary.
“Why didn’t you tell me you had a pretty sister?” Kwangsoo smiled as he elbowed Gary.
“If you know of course, you guys would go after her of course.” He said as he hugged his sister. “She is my little sister after all, I have to protect her” He said as he patted her head.
“So.. are you okay?” Gary said as he looked at me. I nodded.
“Yes I’m alright now” I smiled as Gary smiled back.
“Mother and father told me that you were in the hospital and got me worried!” Sooyung said as Gary smiled.
“I’m okay.” He said as the door opened again. There was my manager who quickly saw me.
“Jihyo!” she quickly said as she ran up to me. “Are you alright?” She asked as I nodded.
“Yes..Why what happened?” I asked, quite confused..and blank as usual.
“You had me worried!” She said as she sighed.
Later on, we decided to go back to the cabins, up at the mountains. The trip was incredibly fun, especially with everyone around. We later left back, filming the next episode.
“YAH GARY.” I said as I yelled aloud. “Why are you so heavy?!” I said as I turned around, piggy backing him. “You told me that you’d carry me.” Gary said as he held onto me.
“Are you alright?” Gary asked as he sat down on a chair, watching the rest trying to beat the mission with the pencils.
“Yeah I’ll be okay.” I said as I breathed heavily. Gary handed me water as I took a drank of it. He nodded his head as he grabbed the drink and drank it also from the same cup I barely took a sip of.
“Yah!” I said as I gave him a glare. “What?” He said as everyone was ready to start the next mission.

All of a sudden we changed partners in the bus, I was with Suk Jin, and Gary was alone with himself. I gave a last turn around the bus as Gary sighed, sitting down alone.

After filming, my back was hurting, I kept hitting my back as the PD came over and looked at me.
“Are you okay Jihyo?” He asked as I smiled and nodded.
“Yeah I’ll be okay” I smiled as I decided to take a walk since filming was over anyways and everyone was starting to leave. When Gary was my partner during filming, it felt as if I was always happy, like someone was always there to protect me, but when he isn’t there and someone else is there, it’s as if, my brother or sibling just took care of me. Some sort of feelings grew towards to Gary, but I wasn’t sure if he was doing it for the fans, or for himself. I sighed as I kicked a rock on the ground, walking near the school. I decided to take a walk inside the school since it’s been awhile since I have been in a school also. Classrooms gave me memories during high school, having fun with your friends and teachers. I stopped as I heard a noise come out of one of the room. I closed my eyes as I could hear a piano melody as I walked closer to it, getting louder each time. I stopped as I spotted Gary playing on the piano as I looked at him, not realizing that he saw me.
“Oh?” Gary said as he turned around. “Hey Jihyo” He smiled as he waved at me.
“Hey Gary~” I smiled as I waved at him. “I didn’t know you could play on the piano.” I said quite surprised.
“Yeah, it’s a hidden talent of mine” He whispered as if it was suspicious smiling, I laughed as I nodded, looking at the piano. “Do you play also?” Gary asked, so that the aura wouldn’t be so awkward. I shook my head.
“I have never learnt how to play on the piano before.” I said playing around with the keys. “But I know how to play mary had a little lamb” I laughed as I played around with the black keys. Gary smiled as he looked at me, and looked at my eyes, deeply. I stared at him also, telling myself that everything Gary did was for show only, it wasn’t real, but I just couldn’t believe it that I would just slowly develop feelings for someone who played around.
“Hey guys! I found out who—“ Kwangsoo stopped as he saw us. We quickly turned around as Kwangsoo covered his mouth. “Oh~” He laughed as he turned around. “I didn’t know today was Monday, I forgot” Kwangsoo smiled as he walked ahead. “Come out whenever you guys are ready because I think we are all going to leave soon.” He said as he quickly ran off, leaving us alone.
“I, uh will go ahead then.” I said as I stood up, quickly going. Gary took my arms and swung me around.
“Remember what I told you.” Gary said with his worried eyes. “Every Monday I will always be there to protect you, and every day besides Monday I’ll still be here for you.” He said as I nodded.
He just made me confused, as if he does it for show or something. Monday? Does he think that Monday couple is only just about the show or our filming days? “Aigoo” I shook my head as I walked off towards to the crew.
- A day later –
It was seven o’clock in the morning and my phone rang. I was still half asleep, nearly hearing my phone ring as I picked up the phone. “JIYHO AH!~” Jaesuk yelled as I was still half awake.
“Huh? Oppa?” I said in a tired voice.
“You’re still asleep aren’t you?” Jaesuk laughed. “We need you to come out right now.” He said hastily. “We need you in our team” He said as I rubbed my eyes, still cuddling my pillow. “Do I have to go right now? It’s not Monday.” I said yawning, ready to go back to sleep as my eyes were closed.
“We have filming on Tuesday too dummy!” He said as I opened my eyes. “Oh correct.” I thought. Yesterday when Gary told me about Monday and other days, I keep thinking that we only film on Mondays, not Tuesday. I quickly got up as I hurried out of the door as I ran downstairs. “Oh?” I said as I spotted Jaesuk in the car, waving his hands. I quickly ran towards to his car and opened the door.
“You’re still asleep” Jaesuk laughed as he saw me with my hat. “Did you just barely wake up now?” Jaesuk laughed as I nodded.
“Yeah, you just woke me up right now.” I said as I looked at the back. “What are we doing?” I said as I looked around the back.
“We’re recruiting members in the morning. We need to hurry and head to Gary’s place” Jaesuk said as he took off from my house.
My heart skipped a beat when I heard Gary’s name. “What about the other members?” I asked as I fixed my hair in the car.
“Jongkook already got them already! I have called Suk Jin and Gary to be outside already so I will head to their place later.” Jaesuk said.
As soon as everyone picked them up and headed to the location, we all got out and waited to see what happens.
“Today you guys will have a race against each other. It will be a question race.” The PD said as everyone looked at each other.
“So we picked up our teams for no reason?” Jaesuk and Jongkook complained.
“Well not really you guys will be separated into teams and will be going to locations to be asked for a question.” The PD said as we all nodded. We all rushed to the car. Me, Gary, Suk Jin, and Jaesuk were in the car, as Jaesuk drove, Suk Jin was in the passenger, and me and Gary were in the passenger seat. We both awkwardly sat next to each other as Jaesuk and Suk Jin were discussing about their child as I pulled the seatbelt, trying to click onto the bottom of the ejection {A\N : Not sure what it’s called -3-}. I was struggling for a few minutes as Jaesuk drove, as I paused. Gary came over as he came face to face to me as he pulled my seatbelt, as the seatbelt part clicked the bottom on the ejection button. Jaesuk looked from the corner of his eyes.
“Eyy~ It’s not Monday today” Jaesuk teased as he smiled.
“Are they really not dating?~” Suk Jin teased as we both looked away.
“Yes, some people may bash me but my parents are happy, that’s all that matters
What more do I need? I’m always an island outside my house
I won’t forget the pride of my parents and engrave it in my heart
Whenever I go home, I see the shoes I bought them are still new
Please stop saving them up and just wear them, open the door of happiness”

“Ah~ Gary isn’t that your song?” Jaesuk said as they listened to the radio. “I heard you made those lyrics.” Jaesuk said as he took a turn from the car.
“Yeah, me and Gil both made the lyrics” Gary said as I looked at him.
“Ah~ That must be from your heart” Suk Jin said as he shook his head with rhythm.
“Yeah, I love my job” He said as he smiled, “and this job also, you guys are all great and I’m thankful.” He smiled as we all listened to the song.
- After the quizzes-
“We’re here!” Jaesuk said as they arrived at a building. We all got out as these men in tuxedo were taking us somewhere---seperately. The PD wasn’t here, and we were taken into the building, as we were roped up.
“Hello again Grasshopper” a male voice said from the announcement.
“ Cut! ”
PD-nim called out. The set was immediately in silence as the Running Man members went to their respective rooms but a certain couple every Monday went to their shared dressing room.
“ Gary Oppa?”
Ji Hyo called out to her Monday boyfriend once in their room. Kang Gary sat at the far end of the Dressing Room, busying himself by reading a newspaper. He tried ignoring her and avoiding her gaze during Running Man filming because of one thing ; Her company announced that she was dating her CEO and it had gone viral. He was devastated, heartbroken. He thought that she had at least had the tiniest feelings for him and that she actually took his confessions seriously. Well, Monday Couple was definitely not scripted unlike Suk Jin ajjushi’s lame jokes and Gwang Soo’s well known betrayal image. No, Monday was real for him. All of his confessions were sincere and true. Now that his other half had someone else, what’s left for him? He sighed before placing the newspaper down and looking at Ji Hyo with dark, gloomy eyes.
“ What is it Ji Hyo-ssi?”
His tone was icy and sad. Ji Hyo was taken back before faintly smiling and patting his shoulder.
“ Oppa, good work today! Monday Couple will win next week right? Hey Oppa, you okay?”
Gary was about to explode. Monday Couple? Since when did it exist? He wanted to hug her forever and tell everything he says is the truth, that he wanted to propose to her to be his girlfriend when the news of her dating her CEO was the talk of the nation. That day dear Readers, was the day Monday was ruined forever for Kang Gary. With a heavy heart and holding back his tears, Gary replied to her.
“ Yes, I am fine. Monday Couple? Bwo? It's over already right and it never was real. So, it's just Kang Gary and Song Ji Hyo. Not Monday Couple. Never was.”
He removed Ji Hyo’s hand from his shoulders and walked out and shut the door behind him. Wearing his shades, he headed to Haha’s dressing room. Wearing his shades would hide the sadness and tears Kang Gary shed for his ex-Monday girlfriend.
Unknowingly, Ji Hyo felt the pain and saw the sadness for she herself shed those tears. She kneeled to the floor, hand covering her mouth as she sobbed.
“ Oppa, everything was a scam. I love you… ”
She cried and cried, but dear Monday boyfriends couldn’t and refused to hear. For he had enough of love, enough of it. Instead, he faked a smile and laughed dryly along with his hyungs and dongsaengs.
“ Running Man members! Filming is resuming! "
The members returned to the set. Gary is with Haha, acting all crazy and happy while Ji Hyo is in the other end, squished between Gwangsoo and Suk Jin, eyes red and puffy. But the members soon forgot about the awkwardness and took no notice as the PD spoke.
“ Today is a couple race as it is a day before White Day. There will be both male and female guests. But, as there is not enough female guests, one of you has to partner up with Ji Hyo. So all of the males vote and the winner with most votes go with Ji Hyo.”
“ Ah, so can you vote for yourself?”
“ But hyung, why would you vote for yourself?”
“Yes, Suk Jin-ssi, you can vote for yourself.”
As the rules were said, the male members each took turns to enter the voting booth to vote for the lucky(?) member to be with Ji Hyo. Inside her mind, Ji Hyo was wishing hard to be with Gary.

When Jong Kook saw the score, his fist immediately landed on Gwang Soo’s shoulder.
“ Why did you pick me? I told you to pick Gary!”
“ H-hyung, i-I wan-t-ted y-ou to w-w-in.”
Gwang Soo shivered. The Commander gave one last death glare before focusing his attention to the PD.
“ Okay, so Gary will be paired with Ji Hyo as the members vote. Now, our guests will come out of that door.”
After much screaming, clapping, running around, hitting each other, complaining and slapping. The members were paired with the guest.
Jae Suk – Taeyeon Couple. Location : Seoraksan National Park
Gary – Ji Hyo Couple. Location : Yongpyong Ski Resort
Jong Kook – Yuri Couple. Location : Carribean Bay
Suk Jin – Taeyang Couple. Location : Gyeongju
Gwang Soo – Daesung Couple. Location : Busan
HaHa – Seungri Couple. Location : Namsan Tower
So the couples set off in separate cars. Inside the car, Ji Hyo feels the awkward vibe and avoids it by sleeping. Gary’s heart aches as he drives of to the Ski Resort.

Before leaving, each couple was given a mission for their respective places. They are to read their mission in the car. First to leave and enter the car was Jong Kook with Yuri. Their mission card is:
Go to Carribean Bay and buy souvenirs for your members and look for the next mission card in the park. Take a sel-ca before heading off.
With enthusiasm, they sped off.
Right behind the Sporty Couple, is HaHa and Seungri. Their mission card reads :
Go to the Namsan Tower and search for camping equipments, then look for the next mission card in the tower. Take a sel-ca as proof.
They dashed forward, wanting to beat the rest but ended up in the wrong car. Seungri sighed and stared at Haha.
“ Hyung, what do I do with you?”
Shortly after, Gary and Ji Hyo arrived . The couple awkwardly took their mission card and by accident, held each others hand. They stared at one antoher for a second before turning the other way. Gary, being the naiive man, looked flustered while Ji Hyo's cheeks were stained pink. Their mission is:
Go to Lotte World and find 5 Running Man animal-themed hats. After that, look for the mission card in the Haunted House. Take a sel-ca of your adventure.
Gary frowned. Sel-ca? Well, its for the show.. He shrugged and together with a very enthusiastic Ji Hyo, they jogged to their car.
A few minutes later, Suk Jin, Daesung, Jae Suk, Gwang Soo, Taeyeon and Taeyang finally arrived. Since Taeyang dashed with Taeyeon behind him, his team got their mission first.
Go to Gyeongju and search for The Bulguksa Temple. Then, look for the Running Man crown. Take a sel-ca and find the mission card in the temple.
“ Suk Jin Hyung!”
Taeyang screamed. His partner was older and weaker and thus, they were too slow for the dancer. He managed to speed him up when he told him that they were going to meet girls there.
Taeyeon was quick but her partner was talkative and well… he too was quite laid back. They got their mission card anyways.
Go to Seoraksan National Park and search for 3 Running Man logs. Once finished, take a sel-ca and search the Baekdam-sa Temple for your mission card.
Finally at last place, Daesung and Gwangsoo dashed to get their mission card.
Head over to The Busan Aquarium and look for 4 Running Man Swimming attire. Take a sel-ca as proof and search for the mission card in the shark exhibition.
They groaned and headed to their car, which was the only one left in the car park.
“ Aigoo…”
Daesung sighed before speeding off to Busan. How will their adventures turn out?
“ Daesung-ssi, could I perhaps have your number?”
Gwangsoo announced. Daesung was startled but gave in.
“ What a weird friend.”
Daesung thought. This was going to be a long ride.

“Oppa, we have to win!”
Yuri exclaimed enthusiastically. Spartakook nodded in agreement. Surely, this couple is super sporty and fit. Comparing strength, they have it all. All they think of is winning. But, what is actually going to surprise them once they reach their location?

Yuri dashed back and forth while Jong Kook was still captured. Wait, our Commander captured? My my~ He used up his strength and vola~ The rope snapped and he was free.
“ He’s too strong. Let’s hide and ambush.”
They sneaked to the bushes to meet their fate, him. Feared in Running Man. Brains, power, he’s got everything.

On the other hand, Haha and Seungri weren’t the best couple in the world. They would bicker over the weirdest things.
“ Haha hyung, you drive too slow. I bet Gwang Soo hyung can catch up to you.”
“ Then why don’t you drive?!?”
“ I don’t want to.”
“ Aish.. This kid.”
This couple had only their wits and as for Seungri, he had a plan strategized in his mind already. But, unexpectedly, will they win?

Hiding in the tower, the duo scanned the area. As Haha was about to turn, a hand clasped his mouth. He struggled and tried to break free until…
“Shh…”
The unknown man hushed him with the voice that would sent chills down your spine. And as quick as lightning, kidnapped Haroro right under Seungri’s nose.
“ Hyung, I fo- Hyung? Haha hyung?”
Seungri called out. That’s when he realized. His battle has just begun.

Leaving the location at the same time is Gary and Ji Hyo. All Ji Hyo could think about was to secretly tell Gary without anyone noticing. And Gary’s mind was clouded with scenarios that would likely happen that day. Of course, Ji Hyo was above all those thoughts.
“ Are you tired?”
Typical. Awkwardness lingered around them. Gary shrugged.
“ Aniyeo, you should rest Ji Hyo-ah. Oppa will take care of you.”
His voice was bitter and to be honest, he was not liking this. He was torn between his love for Ji Hyo and what his heart does not want to feel ; Love.
But with all these fluff, will they still be the co-operative couple they used to be?

“ Ya, who are you?”
Gary exclaimed as a masked woman profusely tried to remove his name tag. Ji Hyo had no choice but to save Gary if she wants him to listen to her.
“ Oppa, run! “
Ji Hyo dragged her ex monday boyfriend to a ferris wheel and locked the entrance shut. They heaved a sigh of relief until they realsied the situation they were in. Looking from above, they saw the lady heading towards the bushes, anxiusly planning her attack. Nervous Gary began to panic. Ji Hyo on the other hand, was enjoying the ride like a 5 year old child. Gary glanced at her before smiling fainlty before rembering that there was a camera filming them.
“ God, PD-nim! Why are you doing this?!??!”
Gary screamed at the camera as he watched the lady. Will they escape? Just then…
“ Gary Oppa~!”

Taeyeon and Jae Suk were the perfect team. Well, for each other of course. They were laughing throughout the trip. Craking up jokes was Yoo Hyuk and Taeyeon joined it, making even Kwon Ryeol VJ laugh out loud. Weirdly enough, nothing bad has happened to them. Hmm..

“ Taeyeon-ah, I found it!”
Jae Suk called out, waving a log with the Running Man symbol. Taeyeon squealed in delight as the PD-in-charge handed them their mission card.. Their card read.
‘ The other teams are having difficulties. Head to *** Building and call over one team as allie and start the search for the 6 golden rings. ‘
“ What?”
Jae Suk could only open his mouth. Difficulties?
“ Oppa, who shall we call?”
Taeyeon questioned as they headed to their car. Jae Suk whispered in Taeyeon’s ear and she readily agreed. Who had they chosen?

Taeyang was in dilemma. So far, they had 3 pit stops for Suk Jin to go to the toilet. How could he continue? But of course, Big Nose Hyung has no idea. Instead, he was cheering with happiness.
“ With YoungBae, nothing could go wrong! It must be my lucky day today not to be paired with Song Ji Hyo.”
He said, patting Taeyang on his back.

Taeyang dashed to the log. He flipped it over to reveal a Running Man logo. He turned to give Suk Jin a high-five when the face of a man(?) faced him. He was wearing a black mask. Immediately, he pounced on Taeyang. Taeyang ran for his life. He passed Suk Jin who was unknowingly going face to face with a hunter.
“ What’s going on? YA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!”
He yelled as the man mercilessly ripped off his tag. He was tackled to the floor before the man whispered to him in a deep voice filled with charisma.
“ Hyung, work harder.”
And with that, he dashed to search for the Big Bang dancer. Now all Taeyang could do was hide, for the hunter is coming.

Currently in last place, Daesung and Gwangsoo finally made it to The Busan Aquarium. It was filled with different species of aquatic animals. Daesung and Gwangsoo could only focus on the food stands instead of the actual mission. How will this Neighborhood Pabos make it alive?

Gwangsoo flung the swimming outfit out from its hidden spot and waved it in the air. Daesung joined in and soon, a little dance party was conducted. After the madness, they quickly found their mission card.

Gwangsoo was in utter shock. Could he and Daesung be the lucky party to actually win? Had he beaten his Sparta Hyung?
“ Gwangsoo, who should we call up?”
“ Kim Jong Kook is necessary in the battle.”
Daesung couldn’t agree more. They drove off to the building and to meet their destiny. Will this team make it until the end?
As Daesung and Gwangsoo got out of the car, they were greeted by a huge crowd. The place was bigger than they expected and they had to find all the swimming attire. As soon as they entered, they quickly spit up and began the search.
“ Excuse me, have you seen a swim suit? Neh, with a Running Man logo.”
Daesung asked a participant. She unknowingly pointed to the direction of the swimsuit.
“ O-over there…”
Daesung gave her his signature smile to the blushing fan and headed to the direction the lady pointed to. Immediately, a bright yellow swim suit was tucked in a corner was spotted. Daesung was overjoyed. He was so overjoyed that he was jumping around with two other participants in joy. They were swirling and bouncing around the aquarium. As for Gwangsoo, he was having trouble with asking where the swim suits are.
“ Excuse me, have you seen a Running Man swim suit?”
“ Nope.”
After what seemed like forever, Gwangsoo finally found one hidden behind a mermaid statue. Gwangsoo actually found something! He speedily tucked the swim suit under his pits and ran off to search for the last swim suit.
Minutes later, Daesung managed to find another one in the giant lobster exhibition. With one more to find, they are unexpectedly leading amongst the other teams! Gwangsoo had an adrenaline rush as he speedily ran around the aquarium, searching for that one swim suit. Sweating profusely while panting, he decided to buy some ice cream for himself. Daesung, however, was more interested in the jellyfishes in the small aquarium. They were changing colors and it was a magnificent sight. Daesung clapped his hands as he saw a jellyfish turn bright yellow. Suddenly, Gwangsoo called out to his childishly adorable hyung.
“ Daesung-ah! I found the last one!”
Gwangsoo flung the swimming outfit out from its hidden spot and waved it in the air. The last troublesome swim suit was cleverly hidden between the shark and jellyfish exhibitions. They immediately held all the swim suits they found and took a sel-ca with them. Making funny faces at the camera, Gwangsoo started the countdown.
“ 1…2…3! ”
Click! The Polaroid camera processed the picture and it came out perfectly. Gwangsoo and Daesung had their tongues sticking out and Daesung posed with a V sign with the swim suits in their hands. The camera had all the proof it needed.
Daesung held Gwangsoo’s hand and along with the crowd of fans, a little dance party was conducted. After the madness, they took their mission card from the PD. They began to read it :

Gwangsoo was in utter shock. Could he and Daesung be the lucky party to actually win? Had he beaten his Sparta Hyung? He had so many questions in his mind but he was flustered when he realized that he had beaten Kim Jong Kook.
“ Lee Gwangsoo! Kang Daesung!”
The crown in the aquarium started cheering and as usual, Gwangsoo and Daesung were distacted and in front of the screen, in big bold letters read :
LeeKang brothers.
“ Eeveryone, let’s do a human wave.”
Gwangsoo announced and started the wave along with Daesung. They did three rounds of human waving with the crowd and were dead tired. The LeeKang brothers had wasted all of their energy playing around that they forgot that they still had a mission to attend to. Quickly returning to reality, the duo sprinted once again to their car and started to discuss who to call.
“ Gwangsoo hyung, who should we call up?”
“ Kim Jong Kook hyung is necessary in the battle.”
Daesung couldn’t agree more. They drove off to the building and to meet their destiny.
But....
Who told them that strength is neccessary in the final battle? Will there be a twist in the end?
